Editorial and review policy
Our guides answer one question each, in plain words, so you can act on them. This is how we make sure they're right.
How we write
- Answer first. Each guide starts with a short answer, then the detail.
- Primary sources. We cite guidelines, systematic reviews and studies, and link each claim to its source.
- No medication advice. We never advise on medication, and our checks fail any page that does.
- No promises. We describe what evidence shows, never results you will get.
- AI as a tool, not an author. We use AI tools to help draft and edit. Every guide is checked against its sources by our editors and reviewed by a registered dietitian before we publish it.
How we review
- A registered dietitian reviews every guide and tool before it goes live. Their name and credential appear on the page.
- Until that review is done, a guide is marked as a draft and kept out of search engines.
- We check every guide again at least every six months, and sooner when new evidence changes the answer. The date at the top of each guide shows the last update.
Independence
We don't take payment for coverage, and our guides don't contain advertising or affiliate links. When we name a product type, such as protein shakes, we don't recommend brands.
Corrections
If you think something is wrong or out of date, email support@holicoach.com. We check every report, correct errors, and update the page's date when we do.
